My Students

My 6th graders have so much to say! As a special education teacher, many of my students struggle with putting their thoughts into written words.

Many of my students have such creative ideas, however, they struggle with reading and written expression.

My school is a neighborhood school filled with a diverse population. Some of my students have attended this school from their kindergarten year and will stay throughout middle school.

My Project

This computer is compatible with the much needed software to help my students enjoy reading and writing as much as their peers. Without this technology, much time is spent with oral dictation and the teacher scribing their ideas in order for them to communicate effectively.

This computer will foster the much needed independence for a middle school student who aims to be successful in the years to come.

It will also allow many of my future students the same success.
