My Students

Common Core standards require students to work on 21st century skills. Students need to learn these skills through the use of technology in the classroom.

Our school is full of students who aspire to attend college.

Without technological skills they will not be ready for the world outside of high school. They need to better their research skills and their ability to properly use technology for academic purposes.

My Project

Students will use the kindles to research in class under the guidance of their teacher. Students will be able to instantly find answers to their questions and ascertain if the websites they are utilizing are trustworthy. Students will be able to do much more with a tablet then they would with textbooks that are older than they are.

Digital literacy in this new age is an important skill that all students need.

The Internet is a vital tool but also a confusing one that can be difficult to navigate. With the guidance of proper digital education students will be able to master 21st century skills.
