Every day. students work or sit at the center table. It is a great way to bring students from different groups together or just do check-ins/reteaching with small groups. The students love to work there, but the stools are possibly the most uncomfortable metal seats ever made.
As you all know, this is a great bunch kids.
Our school has a dynamic partnership with Montclair State University (MSU), our walking-distance neighbor. This unique collaboration affords many opportunities to share resources, facilities, and teaching and learning experiences among our 460 students, their teachers, MSU faculty, and MSU student teachers.
My Project
We all need to move around. It helps us get rid of extra energy and stay focused on our work, but how can that happen in class. These 6 ergonomic Hokki stools let students keep moving, while sitting still. They are ideal for group brainstorming, circle time lessons or reading time in an early education environment.
I believe that anything we can do to help students learn should be given a chance.
These stools seem like a great idea. I sit with students at the round table and from experience, I can tell you that the metal stools make sitting there for any length of time difficult. Although there are not enough stools for everyone to use every day, we will all benefit.
