This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in our classroom consists of a two hour Literacy Block, an hour Math Block, Social Studies/Science, and Daily Meeting. I would like my students to have the utmost amount of opportunity to learn at their own individual needs. My biggest challenge has been accessing technology this year.

I have 10 girls and 11 boys in my 2nd grade class.

My school is very diverse and there are over 700 children that attend my school. My students learn at their own level and pace. I believe that teaching each child in a diverse way can help them progress to their highest potential! There are children from different cultures, speak more than one language, and need specific strategies to help them learn. Technology has helped these students in their progress of learning.

My Project

We are asking for four Otter Box cases to help protect our four iPad minis. At times, it can happen that a student may drop an iPad. In order to prevent damage to the iPads, we are requesting four Otter Boxes to help keep them safe. Students will also understand the concept of responsibility and learn how to take care of classroom belongings.

This donation will help our classroom by preventing any damage to our technology.

As the world is evolving, so is technology. Ipads are very delicate and need a protective case as well. Students will understand the importance of responsibility and being respectful to classroom resources.
