My students need instrument stands to help keep the music room organized and ready to lay.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students love making music. We have tables that are stationary. Our classroom is used for creative dance and drama as well. The instruments get in the way with the stationary tables. With the mobile carts we would be able to move the instruments out of the way and prepare a safe space.

My students are great artists in making music.

They enjoy the music making process. They are very creative and enjoy exploring music together. They work together to create many musical performances both in the classroom and for the stage. The work they do builds character, social interaction, problem solving skills, and many skills that they need to empower their learning.

My Project

The instrument stands are on wheels. The wheels help to make the instrument mobile. We can move them about to clear spaces as well as create other set up for performances. The instruments are easier to play on the stands and help the students with proper technique. We love moving the furniture to make room for creative movement.

Our classroom needs more space at times for safety.

The space will allow for the students to move about while still having the opportunity to have the instruments available. The instrument stands offer a great ability for the students to play in many set up formation.
