My students are amazing artists! We have worked on a variety of projects that have been featured both locally and nationally. I love exposing them to creative materials and using glaze with clay is one of our favorites! Help us get the materials we need to work with glazes in the classroom.
I teach 7th and 8th grade students in a public school setting.
They are ambitious and talented artists who cannot wait to get their hands into the materials I present to them in class. I am excited to be their teacher and to see the wonderfully crafted work they come up with as they learn new techniques to express their ideas in the art classroom.
My Project
I am requesting a variety of glazes as well as a balsa foam class pack to experiment with the potential of glazing in the classroom. Glazes are a more expensive material to order each year, and unfortunately I had to make a choice to not purchase enough for the projects we would like to do. Help us get this material in our classroom by making a donation to our project!
Using quality art materials in a visual arts classroom is essential to developing students understandings and capacities to create.
I would love to be able to afford all of the materials needed to allow my students authentic opportunities to create as artists. If this project is funded, I will be able to do just that!
