Documentation of Robotics in Common Core Classrooms

My students need this iPad so we can document and develop curriculum showing how the new Lego EV3 robot can be used in all subject areas.

My Students

Robots are taking over the world. Students need to see how robotics impact the real world. The only way to do this is to bring the robot to all classrooms and subjects. We want our robots to be more than just a "toy".

There are classrooms where lessons are not the most exciting.

I would like for my students to build, design, and program robots to bring a new set of learning and visual experience to classrooms. Instead of just reading about linear equations, let us program a robot that brings this concept to life for students.

My Project

We are asking for an iPad because we want to record, edit, and document every step we take. We would like to use this platform to develop curriculum and prove to other teachers, schools, and communities how incredibly powerful students can be by utilizing robots in the classroom. We already have plans to make this happen by developing a robotic rocket, a robotic hydroponic system, a fish tank feeder, math concepts, and possibly some chemistry experiments. We just need the tools to record our journey.

If we are funded for this iPad we will be able to share with the world as we go.

We want these ideas and students at work to share with everyone so all schools can see the potential of student thought and development.
