My students need a new love seat and comfortable chairs in the library. Our current furniture is worn and uncomfortable.

My Students

My classroom is the Library Media Center, as I am the Library Media Specialist. A typical day in my classroom begins with the library opening for student use at 7:30 a.m. We have a flexible library schedule, so we have students/patrons using the library all day and into the evening.

Our high school serves 1,500 9th-12th grade students.

Our library is very active. Students have access to the library from 7:30-3:00. The library is used during and after the school day for classes and meetings, as well. Our library is very welcoming and a great place for students to spend time with their friends, browse our collection, read, study, or work on the computers.

My Project

Anyone who visits the library, from students, to faculty, to patrons, will have more comfortable furniture for use while reading, attending meetings, or just chatting with friends. The new furniture will be used every day, and it will replace the worn out furniture we currently have in the library.

Donating to the project will improve our Library Media Center by providing new, updated and comfortable seating for our students and for other patrons who use the library.

Our current furniture is worn and outdated, and needs to be replaced. New furniture will just enhance the appeal of the library because we will be able to remove the worn out furniture. Everyone will appreciate having new furniture in the library.
