My Students

My students are some of the hardest working young people I know! Most of them are not only students involved in multiple school activities, they also maintain part-time jobs.

We have a fantastic group of band students that are dedicated to their school, community, and to making a difference in our world.

They don't want their education to be limited by their surroundings and are determined to make the most of every opportunity given them. My students continually put in long hours of focused work and volunteer in the community through multiple service projects and performances each year.

My Project

Our students are currently playing on brass mouthpieces that are older than they are! Our students are largely low-income and cannot afford to purchase mouthpieces themselves, and unfortunately, we don't have the school budget to replace all of our damaged, old mouthpieces.

Our students' performance abilities shouldn't be limited by our school's old damaged equipment!

Our old mouthpieces are missing the majority of their protective finish, which is unsanitary when being shared among students. They also have dents, and sharp places on them, again not something we want on their faces! Please help our students perform at their best!
