Miscellaneous Markers, Fidgets, and Organization for Structured Literacy Learning

Help me give my students some basic school supplies to help them with reading and writing. We are also requesting some fun fidget toys for the students to earn as part of our rewards system.

My Project

My students come to my room for short 30-50 minute sessions 4-5 days a week to get specialized academic instruction. They are working hard every day to learn strategies and develop skills to help them overcome their learning challenges.

These materials will help my students learn to read and spell through multisensory strategies and tools.

Every reading lesson includes a review of sounds as well as breaking apart words in different ways.

We use markers to locate targeted words and spelling patterns within our text. I also plan to use the Doodle Jamz to have them write words in a fun way. Writing a breaking apart words in different ways help students who have Dyslexia as well as other reading challenges. We also use highlighters and markers to locate information or words in a text to support comprehension, writing, and reading.

It would be so helpful for our class to have replenished basic school supplies as well as materials to help organize their daily materials such as flashcards and letter tiles.
