Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

This classroom will service students with a rainbow of abilities. They will be striving to read and comprehend materials on or close to their grade level with as much independence as possible.

My class is excited to learn to comprehend grade level material, understand a variety of reading genres, and gain academic independence.

While we currently are practicing learning in a different manner, we have always used different methods to learn in our classroom in order to meet the needs of every student in our class.

My Project

The materials listed are necessary as a newcomer to the middle school world. I will be working with students who have challenges in the subject area of English Language Arts.

We are striving for academic excellence in ELA!

My students and I will be working together to build reading fluency and comprehension of the English Language. The books listed in this project will allow us to view the world from the perspectives of different people and examine how our worlds are alike and different. The learning materials listed will be utilized to help build awareness of the English Language and its versatility.
