Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

This classroom will service students with a rainbow of abilities. They will be striving to read and comprehend materials on or close to their grade level with as much independence as possible.

My classes are made up of individuals who are learning to express their thoughts and ideas.

We may not be able to meet in person just yet, but we are almost there and learning to show our S.W.A.G.! There are many important issues that are current that affect us as we are made up of mostly minorities. Therefore, these issues greatly impact us, and we should understand how they continue to make an impact.

My Project

The books and magazines listed in this project, will help us understand the events that have already taken place, are currently, taking place, and those that may happen based on what has happened. We are mostly minorities hre, and really need to have a better understanding of the policies, procedures, laws, and rights that are available to us. If we have a better understanding of these things, we may be able to help change things we view as wrong, and learn how using our voice and our platform can make a difference.
