Smart Board for Smart Kids! Let's VIBE!

My Students

Our students come from very diverse backgrounds. Blue-collar, white-collar farmers and CEOs, our community hosts a wide range of experiences and incomes. Located in a township without a post office, our school struggles to make ends meet at times. We aren't Title I but could be. We have a very strong community presence in our school, which helps, but constant budget cuts mean less money. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, regarding ethnicity and socioeconomic status.

My students are creative and thoughtful.

They excel using hands on activities. Having the opportunity to work with their peers in a collaborative, safe environment will help them thrive in an area of their chosen interest.

My Project

As we all know, students learn best when they are actively engaged, whether at home or school. My students have returned to face-to-face instruction and are ready to get busy learning!

Our regular education classrooms have Smart Boards to enhance their students' learning and I want to ensure my students with special education needs have the same opportunities as their peers.

Visual learners are able to observe the whiteboard, while tactile learners can learn by touching the board. Having access to a Smart Board would allow me to connect to my computer, video camera, digital camera, microscopes, and pretty much anything else that you can think of to help aid in instruction.
