Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are incredibly gifted students. Most come from low income families and overcome a number of obstacles every day to come to school on time and ready to learn. These students are some of the most hard working students that I know and deserve equitable resources to be able to truly show their talents and their skills to the community.
This donor choose project will help my students continue to strive for greatness and be able to close the equity gap that exists in our public schools system.

My Project
By funding my project, students will be able to use the materials in order to write down their thoughts and ideas about history and creating visual aids to supplement student learning in class. Students, especially my English Language Learners, will be able to have access to dictionaries and native language dictionaries to increase their content understanding and raise student achievement
