My students need Nikon camera so that we can record our readers theaters plays, and put on productions that students love. We will also document our 5th grader school year with this camera.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The school I currently work with is made up of a large Hispanic Population. The students are a joy to work with on a daily basis. They work extremely hard while in my class. They respect each other and their school. The school models a traditional theme school program that offers an additional choice for parents and students that is not restricted by race or previous academic performance, but is based on high expectations and the interest to pursue challenging learning experiences.

My Project

The students will be utilizing the Nikon camera in the classroom on a weekly basis. Using the Nikon camera will not only allow me to capture great moments throughout the school year it will also allow me to document each student academic growth.

The camera will me to record students reading and document them while they are reading aloud.

Students will also be able use the camera as a self evaluation tool in the classroom. Students will be able to see what they look and sound like while reading to help improve their reading fluency. We are hoping precious moments are not forgotten in their final year in elementary.
