Wiggle Wobble Seats and Open-Ended Learning with Osmos

My students need an Osmo to add hands-on learning to our iPad. We also need wiggle seats to transform our current desk chairs into sensory seats to help keep students focused while allowing for movement.

My Students

I teach kindergarten at a Title I school in a small East Texas town. My students love to learn through hands-on, active, and engaging activities. My students enjoy learning with movement, music, and manipulatives each day.

My kindergarten students have such a love for learning!

They come to school each day excited and ready to learn. I am blessed to work with such a precious group of children. I cherish every day with my students and enjoy seeing them grow so much during the year!

My Project

The Wiggle Seats will help provide my students comfortable seating. These seats purposely encourage children to move which in turn helps children stay focused for learning.

I learned about the new Osmo technology this summer and knew it would be perfect for my kindergarten students.

The Osmo will provide a reflector and base to transform an iPad into an educational tool. The Osmo Genius Pack will provide my students with letters and numbers tiles and wooden tangram shapes they can manipulate while simultaneously interacting with learning games on the iPad.

These materials will help me to continue to create an engaging and hands-on learning environment for my students.
