My Students

Kids are innately curious and want to learn. It's the perfect setting for me to teach and reach each child.

I love when my students are engaged.

They ask questions, and once in a while I don't even know the answers. They love to try and stump me. I then challenge them to find the answer before I do.

When students are involved and vested in their own learning and projects they excel. They remember, they participate, they learn. It makes each day exciting, different and why I love my job.

My Project

1) Students know how to use a computer to play games. What they don't know is how to use a computer, keyboard and necessary software. It is necessary for me to teach the kids how to properly use a computer.

2) This year our school in now using online textbooks.

We only have 3 computers in our class for 36 students. It is so important for kids to be able to have a book and learn how to read, even if books are online.

3) Chromebooks will allow students to access books, resources, take district tests, and use educational sites and games to reinforce skills taught.
